A late Victorian gold, garnet and enamel necklace. Designed as three circular garnet, white enamel and rope-twist drops, with snake-link swag detail and back-chain. Length 40.5cms. Weight 23.6gms.

<li> Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. <p>
<li> Clasp and some solid sections in the chain near the clasp likely later addition. <p>
<li> Garnets medium purplish-red, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li> Garnets in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
<li> White enamel probable replacement.
<li> White enamel slightly greyish-white, many circular details have dark spots and/or cracks. <p>
