A small early 19th century blond tortoiseshell tea caddy. The hinged pewter-strung cover with central cartouche, the front edge of arc-en-arbalete outline, enclosing two lidded divisions, over conforming front with kite escutcheon, on flared apron with compressed bun feet, 5.75" x 4" x 4" high, (14.5cm x 10cm x 10cm).
