An early English military sword, the carved wooden grip within engraved handle and hilt, further decorated with oval panels to either side, engraved with a crown motif and letters W L D (possibly light Dragoons), the curved blade with engraved decoration (lacking scabbard), blade length 33" (84cm), length overall 38" (97cm).
