An early 1930s Gibson (Kalamazoo) KM-11 mandolin, of flatback or 'pancake' type, with flat-topped peghead named 'Kalamazoo' over four pairs of strings, fretted fingerboard, the teardrop body with double ring purfling and faux tortoiseshell pick guard, to a shaped tail piece, 25.5", (65cm) long, in a green baize-lied fitted hard case with spare Ernie Ball strings.
