A late 19th century oak Thebes stool, probably designed by Leonard Wyburd and made by B. North or William Birch for Liberty & Co, circa 1884, the dished square seat with stitched tan hide panel over turned stretchers with decorative angular struts (two missing), raised on four supports with ring-turned waisted lower section, 17" square x 14" high, (43cm x 35.5cm).
