A late Victorian carved walnut secretaire bookcase, the upper stage having a moulded dentil cornice with bevelled astragal-glazed doors enclosing three adjustable shelves, the lower stage with panelled drop-front secretaire drawer enclosing a gilt-tooled wine morocco skiver beneath drawer and pigeonholes, over a pair of stipple-carved cupboard doors enclosing a shelf, on plinth base, 49" x 20" x 93" high, (124.5cm x 51cm x 236cm)
