A late Victorian gold, spinel and diamond ring. The cushion-shape red spinel and old-cut diamond sides, with scrolling gallery. AF. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct, H-I colour, VS2-SI1 clarity. Ring size P. Weight 5gms.

<li>Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Band resized, out of round.
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Few, small inclusions.
<li>Spinel is a light medium, slightly orangey, slightly pinkish red hue.
<li>Spinel with significant abrasion and a noticeable chip to the upper facets near the girdle.
<li>Estimated dimensions of spinel 7.2 by 7.1 by 4mms. Dimensions are only estimated due to mount.
<li>Stamp mark near ring head, indistinct.
