<li> Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. <p>

<li> Pin with marks including 1871 stamp, 56 and WE, possible further marks to the brooch, poorly struck, obscured. <p>

<li> Diamonds vary in shape size and appearance. <p>

<li> Diamonds bright to fairly bright. <p>

<li> Light and dark coloured inclusions can be seen to many diamonds very easily under magnification. <p>

<li> Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. <p>

<li>The baroque pearl is hollow, the top is open, the interior reveals dark staining.

<li> Baroque pearl varies in colour with white, off-white and dark greyish to brownish purples. Some green and pink overtones and fairly good lustre in places, some areas show more muted lustre. <p>

<li> Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. <p>
