A late 19th century gold gem-set Blackamoor fob. The oval pink gem intaglio procession scene, with green enamel scrolling mount and banded agate Blackamoor pedestal, the figure with old-cut diamond head dress surmount and stud buttons. Length 2.2cms. Weight 4.5gms. With associated case.

<li>Overall condition fair. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>The fob has some alterations.
<li>There is a chip to the agate at the base of the neck.
<li>Some dirt residue visible to the overlaid buttons.
<li>The neck and bust of the piece are two individual pieces and the head does turn and is not fixed.
<li>Diamond fairly well matched.
<li>Diamonds fairly bright.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Some settings of the diamonds may need to be secured.
<li>One of the green enamel panels is chipped.
<li>Minor abrasion visible to the pink enamel intaglio.
<li>Scuffs and scratches visible to associated case, the case has been relined.
