Lot Description
An open face pocket watch by R.Chapman. Silver case, hallmarked 1867. Signed key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. White dial. 52mm. Together with a gold plated pocket watch by Waltham. Recommended for spare or repair purposes only.

<li>Movement is not currently functioning. Balance appears to be intact.
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial has a series of hairline cracks. Cracks run through the subsidiary seconds dial from six towards one, the cracks terminate before the main dial.
<li>Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Some bending is visible.
<li>Glass has scratches and marks.
<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints.
<li>Hinges have some play.
<li>Included pocket watch is currently functioning.
<p>This lot does not come with box or papers. Sold as seen.<p>
