Lot Description
An early 19th century Welsh oak- and mahogany-cased 30-hour painted dial longcase clock. Parry, Blencarreg, circa 1820. The 11-inch break-arched Roman dial having subsidiary calendar aperture over signature, within painted cottages to spandrels and a lady seated within a landscape to arch, the movement countwheel-striking on a bell, the case with swan-neck hood on fluted columns, the trunk with conforming quadrant columns flanking a crossbanded long trunk door, on a crossbanded base with canted corners and plinth, 81", (206cm) high.

Condition Report
Dial has superficial scuffs and scratches. Movement has been cleaned. Case has later backing (none above neck) and has some minor veneer losses including to hood arch and to base. General minor cracks commensurate with age.
