Lot Description

An early George III plain silver beaker, with slightly flared rim and skirted base. Hallmarked Charles Wright, London 1775. Height measuring 3 5/8 inches (9.2 cm), weight 4.4 ozt (137 grams).

The beaker appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general tarnishing, wear, surface marks and scratches consistent with age and use. A couple of minor dints/bumps. Interior was likely once gilded but it is now faded especially around rim. Hallmarks a little rubbed but still clearly legible.
