Lot Description

A mid-Victorian miniature silver chamberstick, the circular base with beaded borders enclosing a band of flower-head motifs and stippled panels, the vase shape socket to the centre and removable conical extinguisher also with beaded detail, engraved family crest to base and repeated to extinguisher. Hallmarked Charles Thomas Fox & George Fox, London 1856. Base diameter measuring 3 5/8 inches (9.2 cm), weight 3.65 ozt (113.4 grams).
