Condition Report
In varied state, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The Bateman teaspoons are engraved with 'S B' to the terminals, no town mark present assumed London. The Thomas Barker teaspoon has approximately a 2 cm split across the bowl, no town mark present assumed London. The napkin rings are mis-shaped and the plain pair have splits to the silver in the middle banding which occurs through the hallmarks of one example. The silver mount of the clothes brush is slightly dented and loose from the brush with loss of definition to the engraving, has a vacant cartouche. The bookmark is missing its finial. The pepper lid has become squashed and dented, one foot deficient. Some items in need of repair or attention, would benefit from a clean and polish. Some marks and hallmarks rubbed and worn but majority still legible.
