Lot Description

A 1930's silver salver, the shaped circular form with a ribbon and reed border enclosing a further band of trailing husk motifs to a plain centre, and the whole raised on three stylised paw feet. Hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd., London 1935. Maximum diameter measuring 12 inches (30.5 cm), weight 21.77 ozt (677 grams).

The salver appears in good overall condition, displaying some general tarnishing, surface marks, scratches and nicks. There are some heavier contact marks visible and also a couple of very minor surface dints. Hallmarks are clear and legible, also with impressed maker's name and address and some scratched numbers.
