A George III silver pounce pot, the urn form with reeded border and domed pierced cover. Hallmarked London, probably 1813. Height measuring 3 ¾ inches (9.5 cm), weight 2.2 ozt (70.5 grams).

In good overall condition, displaying general scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Minor dints and crease to the body. Further spots of discolouration. Hallmarks partly cut to the foot and partly illegible, no hallmarks to the cover.
