A George III silver mounted toddy ladle, the oval shaped and embossed bowl with twisted baleen handle. Hallmarked London 1778, with maker's mark T?. Length measuring 18 1/2 inches (47 cm).

Displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Large solder repair to the join of the handle, split also to the ladle edge above the handle. Baleen split at the terminal. Hallmarks clear and legible, maker's mark partly illegible.
