In varied condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The Sheffield example appears slightly out of line and has a slight wobble. The Birmingham example would benefit from a clean and polish and has heavier tarnishing and scratches throughout, the frame has become slightly squashed inwards. Maker's mark to the Birmingham example slightly rubbed but still legible, others clear and legible.
