Condition Report
The tea set appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general tarnishing, surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. A few minor dints, mainly visible to spout of cream jug. Interiors were likely once gilded but this is now very faded to the tea and hot water pots. Hinged lids appear in good working order. Hallmarks are clear and legible, also part hallmarks to hinged lids. There is a slight difference to the wood handles on the tea and hot water pots and the pattern number on the hot water pot (18779) is slightly different to the pattern numbers on the other three pieces (18799). So it is possible that the hot water pot was not originally in the same set as the rim decoration is also slightly different.
