Lot Description

A George V silver mounted mirror, the plain shaped rectangular form with easel support back, inset with a manual wind pocket watch of circular aperture with white enamel dial and black Roman numerals. Hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., London 1910. Maximum height measuring 9 6/8 inches (25 cm).

In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavier wear to the material back around the edges, pin missing from the top of the mount, small minor split to the back near the pocket watch. Movement of the watch currently not ticking. Fellows are unable to confirm working order and accuracy. Hallmarks clear and legible, further marked 'Mappin & Webb Ltd'.
