Lot Description
An Egyptian silver Aladdin lamp, of typical form with high arch scroll handle and conical lighter, the whole raised upon an oval foot, stamped with post 1940 Egyptian assay marks, length measures 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm). Together with a set of six small Egyptian silver dishes, each of circular form with embossed rims, stamped with post 1940 Egyptian assay marks, a small Dutch box with hinged lid and heart motifs, marked with the Dutch lion passant alongside further indistinct marks and a model of a llama on plinth, appears unmarked. Gross weight 10.2 ozt (317.1 grams).

Condition Report
In varied state, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The Aladdin lamp is missing its cover/snuffer, minor dent to the foot and some heavier tarnishing around edges. The Dutch box is heavily tarnished and has loss of definition to the decoration, visible holes and splits to the lid which overhangs. Remnants of polish visible on the llama which appears unmarked. Some marks indistinct but some still legible.
