A late nineteenth century Japanese silver pepper, of graduated bulbous form with circular motifs and planished background. Marked to the underside with the Jungin mark alongside further character mark. Height measuring 7 cm, weight 36.4 grams.

Condition Report
The pepper displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Screw-thread with removing or replacing the cover is very stiff. Soft solder, probably indicating a repair is visible to the join of the foot.
