A large Edwardian silver cigarette case, the slightly curved oblong form with floral engraving surrounding a central vacant cartouche, opening to reveal a silver-gilt interior. Hallmarked George Unite & Sons, Birmingham 1909. Length measures 5 1/2 inches (14 cm), weight 5.75 ozt (178.9 grams).

In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor loss of definition around the edges. Case shuts fully flush. Postcode faintly visible on the silver-gilt interior. Hallmarks clear and legible.
