Lot Description

A turn of the century Austro-Hungarian silver and enamel box of circular form, the gold coloured guilloche enamel with further floral embellishment to the hinged cover opening to a silver-gilt interior. Austro-Hungarian hallmarks for Vienna 1872-1922, also marked AH and Sterling. Diameter measuring 4.4 cm, weight 53 grams.

The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. An area to the cover and edge does display large chips to the enamel. Gilding remains quite bright. Austro-Hungarian hallmarks clear. Hinge in good working order.
