Lot Description
An Edwardian silver mounted pin cushion modelled as a hatching chick, hallmarked Sampson Mordan & Co Ltd, Chester 1906, height measuring 2.5 cm. Together with a pair of 1920's silver sugar tongs, hallmarked Sheffield 1926. (2).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The pincushion has tarnishing throughout with slight loss of detail to the decoration, slight splits along seam lines, replacement material to cushion, hallmarks a little rubbed. The sugar tongs are in fair condition with some minor tarnishing, marks and scratches, bowls appear okay, hallmarks clear and legible.
