Lot Description

A 1920's silver mounted pin cushion modelled in the form of a shoe. Hallmarked S Blanckensee & Sons Ltd, Birmingham 1920. Length measuring 5 1/8 inches (13 cm).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The silver is in good condition, some minor dints and loss of definition to the edges, with some creases to the top rim. Slight gap between the silver mount and the wooden base which has some heavier scratches and dents. The cushion is ripped and in need of repair and attention. Hallmarks clear and legible.
