A mid 20th century 18ct gold Sri Lankan sapphire ring. The cushion-shape sapphire, with openwork gallery. With report from GCS, dated 17th November 2016, stating approximate weight 5.70cts, Sri Lanka (Ceylon) origin, no heat. Ring size N1/2. Weight 3.2gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Sapphire is a light medium slightly violetish blue hue.
<li>Some eye visible inclusions toward the centre of the gem.
