An early 19th century emerald and diamond cluster ring. The cushion-shape emerald, with rose-cut diamond scalloped surround, foliate and grooved shoulders. Ring size M1/2. Weight 3.7gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Some deeper scratches and small dents.
<li>Possible replacement band.
<li>Possible alterations to the mounts/replacement gems.
<li>Some glue visible.
<li>Diamonds appear bright and well matched, presumed foil back.
<li>Cut, size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Few, mostly small, scattered inclusions.
<li>Emerald is a moderately vibrant medium slightly bluish green hue. Some dark patches, window effect.
<li>Emerald with significant abrasion and nicks.
