A late Victorian sapphire and diamond ring, circa 1890. Designed as a series of five graduated oval-shape sapphires, with diamond point intervals and scrolling gallery. Ring size N. Weight 5.6gms.

<li>Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Probable replacement stones.
<li>Some replacement and re-tipped claws.
<li>Visible wear to the scrolling gallery.
<li>Diamond points fairly well matched.
<li>Chips visible to several with magnification.
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Sapphires medium dark blue, fairly well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions/angular colour zoning visible with the unaided eye.<p>
<li>Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
