Lot Description
A French Belle Epoque gold, diamond and pearl brooch. Of openwork design, the pearl and textured foliate drop, suspended from a similarly foliate scrolling panel, with circular-cut diamond central flame, scrolling and foliate highlights. May be worn as a pendant. Principal diamond estimated 0.70ct, G-H colour, VS clarity. French assay marks. Length 7.4cms. Weight 22.7gms. Pearl untested.

<li>Overall condition very good. Few surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Diamonds bright and well matched.
<li>Estimated total diamond weight 1.60cts.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of most diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Most diamonds with very few, small, light inclusions. Diamond just above pearl with eye visible dark inclusions.
<li>Pearl is a slightly yellowy cream hue with faint rose and green overtones. Typical surface blemishes including pitting and uneven surface.
<li>Approximate dimensions 10.5 by 8.2mms.
<li>Pearl untested for natural origin.
<li>Number 11993 stamped to side and brooch fitting.
