An early 20th century 18ct gold diamond and opal three-stone ring. The old-cut diamond, with circular opal cabochon sides and grooved shoulders. Estimated diamond weight 0.35ct, I-J colour, VS2-SI1 clarity. Hallmarks for London, 1928. Ring size L1/2. Weight 3.1gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Diamond bright with small inclusions.
<li>Opals are a pale, translucent white hue, one with significantly better play of colour than the other.
<li>Opals with moderate abrasion to the centre of the cabochon.
