A 1970's 18ct gold diamond and ruby dress ring. Of abstract design, comprising a graduated series of vari-textured curved panels and scrolls, with old-cut diamond and cushion-shape ruby highlights. Maker's marks for Wally Morgan. Estimated total diamond weight 0.60ct. Hallmarks for London, 1972. Ring size M. Weight 11.1gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>The ring is of openwork design, with asymmetric terminals.
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Varied, mostly light inclusions.
<li>Rubies are a deep medium moderately purplish red hue.
<li>Minor abrasions, one ruby with noticeable chip to upper facets.
<li>Length of ring head 2.8cms.
