A late Victorian gold garnet brooch. Of circular outline, the circular foil back garnet cabochon, with similar-shape foil back garnet and cannetille surrounds. Diameter 3.4cms. Weight 7.9gms.

<li>Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li> Multiple areas of localised discolouration to the reverse of the brooch. <p>
<li> Central garnet setting with parts deficient.<p>
<li>Garnets medium slight purplish red, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>
