Lot Description
A late Victorian large silver bowl, the circular body heavily embossed with fruits and foliate motifs amidst scalework with twin-cartouche, one engraved with a personal inscription, the whole raised upon an embossed and gadrooned splayed foot. Hallmarked Atkin Brothers, Sheffield 1891. Maximum height measures 6 6/8 inches (17.5 cm), weight 28.3 ozt (880 grams).

Condition Report
In good overall condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavily tarnished throughout, would benefit from a clean and polish. Minor loss of definition to the embossed decoration. Visible rubbing and scratches to both cartouches, dent to the left of the word 'Presented'. Slight bump to the edge of the foot. Hallmarks clear and legible. Also marked 'Z. Barraclough & Sons. Leeds' beneath.
