Lot Description
A small Victorian silver cream jug, in Arts & Crafts style with cauldron form body, sparrow beak spout and angular handle, raised on three pointed feet. Hallmarked Mappin & Webb (John Newton Mappin), London 1886, also with impressed maker's name. Height measuring 2 inches (5 cm), weight 1.89 ozt (59 grams).

Condition Report
The jug appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general surface wear, tarnishing, marks and scratches commensurate with the age. Some minor surface dints and bumps. Interior was likely once gilded but this has now faded. Hallmarks appear rubbed but are still clearly legible. Also with impressed circular maker's mark.
