An Arts & Crafts silver sugar caster by Omar Ramsden and Alwyn Carr, the bellied form embossed with a Tudor rose border and inscribed 'Laughter Makes the Old World Gay & Young', Hallmarked Ramsden & Carr, London 1911. Height measuring 4 inches (10 cm), weight 2.5 ozt (77.8 grams).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The caster appears lopsided, with some compression to the base and solder repair to the narrow of the foot. Minor dints and bumps. Dent to the cover. Solder seam also visible to the cover. Hallmarks a little rubbed but legible.
