A George V silver hot water pot, of plain baluster form with ebonised wood scroll handle, the hinged lid and footed base with gadroon rims, maximum height of pot inclusive of finial measures 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm). Together with a matched silver sugar bowl and cream jug of plain tapered form, all hallmarked Alexander Clark & Co Ltd., Birmingham 1911. Gross weight 15 ozt (466.6 grams).

Condition Report
In good overall condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, mark and wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Hallmarks to the hot water pot are significantly rubbed but still just legible, partial hallmarks to the inner lid clear and legible. Remnants of polish visible. The bowl and milk hallmarks rubbed but legible, also marked 'The Alex B Clark Company Ltd London' to the base.
