Condition Report
In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The mug has minor dints to the body, with remnants of polish visible. The butter dishes have registration mark 16636 to the base. Minor loss of definition to the embossed decoration on the mirror. Heavier wear and tarnishing to the clothes brushes, with some holes in the silver on the Chester example, both have vacant cartouches. The silver plated cigarette box has a wood lined interior and is engraved 'A. A. M' to the lid and '25 years' to the front edge, and stamped 'Sheffield England Silver Plate on Copper 6' to the base. Hallmarks clear and legible, apart from the Chester clothes brush whose maker's mark are indistinct.
