Lot 202

Lot Description

A pair of 1920's silver candlesticks, each with circular filled base rising to a plain tapering stem, vase shape socket and removable nozzle, reeded borders throughout. Hallmarked Ellis Jacob Greenberg, Birmingham 1921. Height measures 9 7/8 inches (25 cm).

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

Both candlesticks appear in a tarnished state and would benefit from a clean and polish. General surface wear, marks and scratches consistent with age. A few minor dints. The stem on one of the candlesticks has a slight lean. Knocks to both nozzles so that they are a little misshapen. Some rubbing and distortion to hallmarks but still legible. Part hallmarks to nozzles.
