Lot Description

An Edwardian silver mounted ink pot, the heavy bulbous glass body with protruding curves and having a plain silver collar with flat hinged lid. Hallmarked Birmingham 1903, maker's mark partly distorted but probably Levi & Salaman. Height measuring 2 1/2 inches (6.3 cm).

Appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear, surface marks and scratches. Some tarnishing to silver. The hinged lid in good working order and closes flush. Surface nicks and edge nibbles to glass and heavier contact marks to underside. Some rubbing to hallmarks and partial distortion to maker's mark, clear part hallmarks to lid.
