A George II pitcher or jug, the fluted bellied body stood on a circular foot and with foliate capped scrolling handle and silver-gilt interior. Hallmarked Thomas Mason, London, probably 1749. Height measuring 5 inches (13 cm), 11.7 ozt (364 grams).

In fair overall condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Further dints and bumps. Large solder repair to the body. Hallmarks rubbed, date letter almost completely erased.
