Lot Description
An early twentieth century silver mounted jewellery box, the plain oval form raised on four pad feet, the hinged lid having a husk border and opening to reveal a faux silk lined interior. Hallmarked A & J Zimmerman Ltd., Birmingham 1914. Maximum length measuring 4 7/8 inches (12.3 cm).

Condition Report
The box appears in a tarnished state and would benefit from a clean and polish. General surface wear, marks and scratches. A few minor dints. Hinged lid appears in good working order, very slight gap remains when in closed position. Wobbles a little when standing. Some fading and discolouration to the material lining and a few tears/frays. Also wear to the underside. Hallmarks are clear and legible and part hallmarks to lid.
