Lot Description
An early twentieth century German silver cream jug, the panel sided form with a hammered ground, a decorative border in low relief and a beaded foot rim, with flat top stained wood handle. Impressed maker's mark for Adolf von Mayrhofer (Munich, active 1903-1929), alongside the crescent moon and crown mark, also stamped 800 and GES GESCH. Height measures 2 1/2 inches (6.3 cm), gross weight 4.17 ozt (129.8 cm).

Condition Report
The jug appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear and tarnishing. There are some surface marks and scratches and a couple of minor dints. Wear to the staining on the wood. Marks are clear and legible.
