A twentieth century Iranian trinket box of circular form, the removable cover ornately decorated with birds of paradise amidst flowers and foliage and the base with a similarly decorated border. Iranian Assay marks. Diameter measuring 2 5/8 inches (6.7 cm), weight 2.95 ozt (91.8 grams).

The box appears in good overall condition, displaying some general wear, tarnishing, surface marks and scratches. Some heavier contact marks to the underside and around the rim from the removing and replacing of the cover.
