Lot Description
A nineteenth century French silver wine taster, the circular form with lobed and circular embossed decoration and having a reeded loop handle. Paris assay mark for 950 fineness (1819-1838), a maker's mark for Theodor Tonnelier (from 1798), and two further marks, slightly distorted but possibly guarantee marks. Length including handle measures 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm), weight 1.54 ozt (47.8 grams).

Condition Report
The wine taster appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear, tarnishing, and light surface marks and scratches. Some minor dints and edge nicks. Two assay marks to main body and two to the handle, some a little distorted.
