Lot Description

A set of six French armada dishes of plain circular form with engraved initials to the centre, with Minerva guarantee and marked Tiffany & Co., Paris beneath, four with further impressed marks, width measures 7 inches (18 cm). Together with a set of six French bowls, the circular form engraved with initials raised upon a short footed base, with Minerva guarantee and marked Tiffany & Co., Paris. Gross weight 91.2 ozt (2839.4 grams).

In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Three dishes impressed with a mark for 'D R Paris' above and below two dices, one impressed with a mark for ?XS in a diamond, all slightly obscured. All dishes and bowls engraved with 'G. L. R'. One bowl appears unmarked with the Minerva guarantee. Other marks rubbed but legible.
