Lot Description

A pair of George IV silver Fiddle pattern berry spoons, the florally engraved stems with silver-gilt embossed bowls. Hallmarked London 1826 with the maker's mark W.E. Together with a provincial silver berry spoon, hallmarked Newcastle, probably 1818. Gross weight 6 ozt (187.5 grams).

The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Crease to the terminal of the Newcastle example. It si likely that the embossing and decoration was added at a later date. Newcastle hallmarks worn.
