A selection of six George III silver salt spoons by Hester Bateman, to include a pair and four individual examples and four with personalised terminals. Hallmarked Hester Bateman, 1781, 1786, 1787 and 1789. Gross weight 1.4 ozt (46 grams).

Varied state. All displaying general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  Heels worn. Some of the bowls have worn a little thin and are misshapen. Small tear to one on the shoulder. Hallmarks in varied state  - extremely worn to one.
