A pair of eighteenth century scissor action sugar nips, partial hallmarks only to include the maker's mark R.M, length measuring 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm). Together with a Victorian silver Teaette pattern 5594 tea infusing spoon, hallmarked George Gray, London 1893. Gross weight 1.5 ozt (47 grams). (2).

Displaying general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Repair to the join of one of the legs on the sugar nips and therefore does not sit flush with the other leg. Part hallmarks only to the sugar nips. Marks to the tea infuser also a little rubbed.
