Condition Report
The sugar nips appear quite tarnished throughout and would benefit from a clean and polish. General surface marks, scratches and nicks consistent with age and use. There is a repair at the base of one of the wavy stems. They do appear to be in working order and in fairly good alignment, however both stems do appear to lean over to one side slightly. One of the finger rings is very slightly misshapen. The hinge is initialled A R. Each finger ring struck with a lion passant and maker's mark, both are rubbed and distorted and the maker's marks are illegible.
